Personal Emergency Response Systems (PERS) provide your patients and clients with safety, security and instant access to a live Life Safety Monitoring Operator while at home or on the go. Our Life Safety Operators are available 24 hours a day to assess each situation and ensure that the appropriate level of care is provided. Our offerings include traditional, cellular and mobile/GPS PERS, as well as new technological advances such as PERS Smart Phone Apps and Automatic Fall Detection.
Our goal is to provide you with a cost-effective and customizable approach to implementing a personal in-home Remote Patient Monitoring program with vital sign telehealth devices. Our ability to scale the available options and reports (such as weight, blood pressure, pulse ox, blood glucose and more) to your needs helps achieve superior care, better outcomes and higher efficiency.

Non-adherence to medication regimens is a leading cause of hospital admissions, readmissions and nursing home placements. A total of 40 to 50 percent of readmissions can be due to medication non-compliance and adverse events. With over 15 years of experience in monitored medication management and our proven adherence process, we have achieved a medication compliance rate average of over 90 percent and have shown a dramatic reduction in hospital and nursing home (re)admissions.

LSM is UL Listed and a member of The Monitoring Association (TMA), both of which recognize industry standards for quality, redundancy, and training in operations and infrastructure. LSM ensures no downtime in responses to device activations despite outside deterrents such as power outages or natural disasters.

STAAR Alert offers secure Electronic Data Integration (EDI) and Electronic Health Record (EHR) transfer through our Life Safety Monitoring Center’s enhanced software platform. Each form of STAAR Alert’s in-home medical device technologies offers an advanced level of professional monitoring. Signals from each device are automatically sent to the servers and TMA professional operators at STAAR Alert's Life Safety Monitoring Center, ensuring that all notifications are managed in real-time.
Our more than 25 years of experience and participation as a Medicaid Waiver, Dual Eligible provider has vetted and refined our monitoring and reporting processes. We commit to working with you to ensure our technology and service is customized to the workflow you are already utilizing. Patients, customers, and providers have access to backend service support and health portals both at home and off-site. We provide technology, maintenance, and live client education to guarantee a streamlined and nonintrusive experience.
